Week 7

Model Making:

This iterated model is in a 1:20 scale in order to get a better understanding of the physical elements. This model features a new light source with a moveable screen for privacy while studying and removes the previous window as it faces north and heats up my room in the mornings. Also, the model is doubled in floor space in order to accommodate a basketball hoop which allows for some physical activity, especially during these times.

Reflection:

The hoop in the initial models is not really functional as there is no height for the hoop to be placed. In the new sketched plan, the addition of a mezzanine level allows for an increase in height which will allow for the hoop to be better useable.This mezzanine floor will house the study space with the now cleared area containing a tv and console sets.
